Been dealing with the worst back pain this week :( I’m pretty sure I have a brace for every part of my body at this point. Attempted to work out- hurt like a bitch but cranked out shoulders. If its not one thing, it’s another. Can’t win. 😔 #update #pain #gym #workout #shoulders #contestprep #brace #fitness #health (Taken with Instagram)
Time for a new book to read!
Does anyone have any suggestions for a book I should read, either fitness related or not.
Thank you :)
I’ve been hearing things about it here and there but don’t know too much about it.
does anyone have or know someone that is doing/did it?
Edit: I’m reading up on it on bodybuilding.com.. its all scientific and shit.. would still like to hear anyone’s personal experience with it.
water intake today? sucks.
food intake today? sucks.
cardio/weights today? sucks.
mood today? sucks.
-Didn’t make my morning cardio
-Haven’t been to the gym all day
-Only had two meals today, one of which consisted of a pb&j (fml)
-The only thing I’ve drank was a large iced coffee from D&D
My mood went from happy and good, so sad and depressed.
I don’t even feel like eating. Drinking. Moving. Nothing.
I hate it. And, it’s all because of one stinkin person. Sometimes being nice and kind to people bites you in the ass.
In the words of Carrie Underwood, “You stole my happy, You made me cry, You took the lonely and took me for a ride, And I wanna un un un un undo it. You had my heart now I want it back, I started to see everything you lack. Boy you blew it, You put me through it, I wanna un un un un undo it”

I was OFF my diet. I only followed it for one day. This probably wasn’t a smart decision, but it just happened. After being so strict and depriving myself of simple things like fruit I feel like I deserved some time off. Yes, I did indulge in things I probably shouldn’t have, but I’m kinda okay with that.
My coach has no idea I took this much time off my diet. He’d probably be pissed. Oh well, he an suck it. I’m about 7 weeks out from my next competition, I got this.
I haven’t been really happy with my coach lately, so after following his plan for the last comp, I decided that I’m gonna kinda follow his now but add my own twist to it. I’m going to follow his workout split, but do my own exercises and with however many reps I deem necessary as well as how much weight. As for his diet, ill follow majority of it. I now know how my body responds to certain things, like carbs for example, so with that being said I’m gonna just do my own thing.
I want to add muscle. A lot more. Not bodybuilder muscle, but a good amount. Itll be tough, especially since ideally I’d like to lean out and build muscle at the same time (who wouldn’t?) lol but we’ll see.
If anyone has any advice for me regarding building muscle and leaning out, I’d appreciate it.
